Mac and MacBook repair on Hilton Head

We've worked on iMacs and MacBooks alongside PCs for years, and we look after the Macs in our managed IT clients' offices: slow Macs, startup loops, full disks, data that needs saving and moving to a new machine.

Check your warranty first. If your Mac is still covered by Apple's warranty or AppleCare, use that before paying anyone. We're an independent shop, not an Apple Authorized Service Provider, and we'll tell you if Apple should be your first stop.

What we help with

  • Macs that have become slow, beach-ball constantly or run out of storage.
  • Startup problems: a folder with a question mark, a progress bar that never finishes, a Mac that restarts in a loop.
  • Storage and memory upgrades on older iMacs and MacBooks that support them.
  • Recovering photos and documents from a Mac that won't start. See data recovery.
  • Adware, browser hijacks and fake "your Mac is infected" pop-ups. Macs get them too. See virus removal.
  • Setting up a new Mac and moving everything over from the old one, Mac or Windows.
  • Backups with Time Machine and the cloud, so the next failure doesn't cost you anything.
  • Macs in the office: Microsoft 365, printers, shared drives and Wi-Fi working the same as on the PCs.

Find out what we'd fix first

A free assessment looks at your computers, network, email and backups, and tells you plainly what needs attention.

Newer Macs

On recent Apple silicon Macs, storage and memory are built into the board and can't be upgraded, and some repairs really are Apple-only. We'll tell you plainly which side of that line your problem is on, and we can still help with software, data, backups and setup.

Repair is part of our managed IT service. We repair computers for businesses on a managed IT plan, and we no longer take one-off repairs for home users. Clients: call (843) 422-2201 and we'll fix it over a remote session or on site.

Questions we get

Do you still repair computers for home users?

No. Computer repair is now a service for businesses on our managed IT plans, so it's handled as part of looking after your office.

Are you an Apple authorized repair shop?

No, we're independent. If your Mac is under warranty or AppleCare, we'll point you to Apple first. For everything else, we'll tell you what we can fix and what we can't.

Can you upgrade my MacBook's storage?

On many older MacBooks and iMacs, yes. On recent Apple silicon models the storage is built in, so the answer is usually external storage or a new Mac.

Tell us what's going on.

Call, or send a few lines about your business or your computer. You'll hear back from a person who can actually fix it.
