HHI Computer Guys

Remote computer help, while you watch

Most computer problems don't need a visit. For our managed IT clients, a technician connects to your computer over a secure session, with your permission, and fixes it while you watch.

Only start a session after you've spoken to us. We never cold-call, never use pop-ups, and never ask for payment in gift cards. If someone you didn't call asks to connect to your computer, hang up.

How it works

  1. Call us

Ring (843) 422-2201 and describe the problem. We'll tell you if it can be fixed remotely.

  2. Get a code

Your technician gives you a support key on the phone.

  3. Connect

Open fastsupport.gotoassist.com, enter the key and allow the session. It's GoTo Assist, a secure, encrypted remote-support tool.

  4. Watch it get fixed

You see everything we do and can end the session at any time.

Find out what we'd fix first

A free assessment looks at your computers, network, email and backups, and tells you plainly what needs attention.

Good for

  • Email that stopped sending or receiving, Outlook problems.
  • Printers and scanners that won't connect.
  • Software installs, updates and errors.
  • Slow computers, startup clutter and many malware cleanups.
  • "How do I...?" questions about settings, files and accounts.
  • Staff working from home, or out of the office for the summer.

You'll need a working computer with an internet connection. If it won't start or get online, we'll arrange a repair.

Part of managed IT

Remote support is built into managed IT. With monitoring already on every computer, we can often fix things without interrupting anyone at all.

Questions we get

Is remote support safe?

Yes, when it's a session you started with someone you called. The connection is encrypted, you watch everything, and you can end it at any time. Never allow access to someone who contacted you first.

Do you need to be in Hilton Head to use remote support?

No. As long as the computer works and is online, we can help your staff from anywhere.

Do you still repair computers for home users?

No. Computer repair is now a service for businesses on our managed IT plans, so it's handled as part of looking after your office.

Tell us what's going on.

Call, or send a few lines about your business or your computer. You'll hear back from a person who can actually fix it.
